    : User's Behaviour in Information Searching At The Central Library Islamic State University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim. The diversity of user's behavior need to be examined more. By researching the user's searching-behavior, then library can create user-oriented service. This research done in qualitative and deep interview is the main data-collector alternative. This research focus on user's behavior in searching information and the factor which form the background of those behavior. The result shows that user's information-searching behavior at in average, is still inappropriate with the exist searching procedure. The causal factor of this behavior are the difference of working environment, user's lack of knowledge about information system in library, the less effective of user's education activity, and user's low experience in searching the information

    Isolation and Screening of Diesel Degrading Bacteria From Ship Dismantling Facility at Tanjungjati, Madura, Indonesia

    The ship dismantling industry is a cause of contamination of the environment by diesel. The objectives of this study were to isolate and screen diesel degrading bacteria from diesel contaminated areas. Diesel contaminated seawater and soil samples were collected from a ship dismantling facility at Tanjungjati, Madura, Indonesia. Isolation was conducted with an aseptic technique and growing the mixture culture was carried out based on the pour plate method. After 24 h of incubation, thirteen bacteria strains were isolated from diesel contaminated seawater and soil samples from the area of study. The isolated bacteria were identified based on morphological characterization. Mostly gram positive bacteria were found. The isolated bacteria were screened by using nutrient agar medium containing various diesel concentrations (0%, 5%, 10%, and 15% (v/v)). The result of the screening test showed that the bacteria coded EL and CT displayed the best resistance and highest growth in diesel polluted medium. It was shown that both of them potentially have a higher capability of utilizing diesel as carbon and energy source than the others

    Precision is in the Eye of the Beholder: Application of Eye Fixation-Related Potentials to Information Systems Research

The EFRP method allows one to synchronize eye tracking with electroencephalographic (EEG) recording to precisely capture users’ neural activity at the exact time at which they start to cognitively process a stimulus (e.g., event on the screen). This complements and overcomes some of the shortcomings of the traditional event related potential (ERP) method, which can only stamp the time at which a stimulus is presented to a user. Thus, we propose a method conjecture of the superiority of EFRP over ERP for capturing the cognitive processing of a stimulus when such cognitive processing is not necessarily synchronized with the time at which the stimulus appears. We illustrate the EFRP method with an experiment in a natural IS use context in which we asked users to read an industry report while email pop-up notifications arrived on their screen. The results support our proposed hypotheses and show three distinct neural processes associated with 1) the attentional reaction to email pop-up notification, 2) the cognitive processing of the email pop-up notification, and 3) the motor planning activity involved in opening or not the email. Furthermore, further analyses of the data gathered in the experiment serve to validate our method conjecture about the superiority of the EFRP method over the ERP in natural IS use contexts.     Topological analysis of chemical bonding in the layered FePSe3 upon pressure-induced phase transitions

Topological analysis of chemical bonding in FePSe3 has been performed based on the results of first-principles calculations within the periodic linear combination of atomic orbitals (LCAO) method with hybrid Hartree-Fock-DFT B3LYP functional. The first transition at about 6 GPa is accompanied by the symmetry change from R 3 ¯ to C2/m, whereas the semiconductor-to-metal transition (SMT) occurs at about 13 GPa leading to the symmetry change from C2/m to P 3 ¯ 1 m . We found that the collapse of the band gap at about 13 GPa occurs due to changes in the electronic structure of FePSe3 induced by relative displacements of phosphorus or selenium atoms along the c-axis direction under pressure. The results of the topological analysis of the electron density and its Laplacian demonstrate that the pressure changes not only the interatomic distances but also the bond nature between the intralayer and interlayer phosphorus atoms.     Critical success factors of the digital payment infrastructure for developing economies

    YesThis paper studies the Critical Success Factors’ (CSFs) for the adoption of Digital Payment System in India. There are few studies about the literature on CSFs for the adoption of the digital payment system in the Indian context. This study is an attempt to cover this gap. In this study, we reviewed the theories for adoption model at the individual level used in Information System (IS) and discussed four technology model including “Technology Acceptance Model” (TAM). Ten factors have been identified with extensive literature review and review of selected models namely; Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived functional benefits, Awareness, Availability of Resources, Government as a policy maker, Performance Expectancy, Social Influence, Price Value, Experience & Habit, and Risk-taking ability. An expert from academic industry has been taken as a reviewer or consultant of the selected variables. The CSFs may ensure that they are the predictors and the important factors for adoption of digital payments system in India. The study mainly uses the deductive approach to consider the primary and secondary sources of data. The analyses of these models take into account through Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) methodology and develop a model for effective adoption of Digital Payment System in India. The paper also makes future recommendations for further research studies
